Job Title
SPM AnalystOverview• Leads and facilitates business and technology leaders to refine functional strategy, create technology roadmaps and translate business roadmaps into specific capabilities and features that align with functional goals and objectives.
• Provides each line of business a single point of contact to better align technology investments and assets to deliver expected business and financial benefits
• Influences and manages an IT Portfolio's demand to ensure the most valuable and effective use of investments and resources.
Role
• Works with business partners to align business and IT roadmaps, provide IT solutions to business opportunities, gather and document requirements, and prioritize projects in light of the economic measures and business cases for the line of business
• Leads and develops a high performing team– participate in goal setting, appraising personal performance against team goals, supporting fellow team members in their respective endeavors and seeking ways to enhance the collective teams' engagement.
• Takes ownership for grooming talent for key positions and builds manager capabilities by encouraging pro-active learning, coaching and two-way feedback. Champions teamwork and collaboration across the business, removing unseen barriers to achieve and exceed enterprise-wide results.
• Partners with Finance on business case development for incremental needs and reports on investment spend and progress via KPIs
• Drives an enterprise-wide portfolio while meeting goals as efficiently as possible by using key insights and lessons from previous projects' successes and failures
• Creates and establishes a service management discipline and ensures market and customer work stream readiness
• Responsible for managing the portfolio cost and makes recommendations to leadership on how to reprioritize/ and optimize the portfolio
• Brings visibility to the program's Work in Progress (WIP) to understand velocity and ensure efficient product development and other demand workflow
• Engages others in identifying future project needs and in finding key impactful areas for improvement while maintaining a safe balance of risks and rewards
All About You
• Strong knowledge and experience in payments, the mobile and/or ecommerce market and technologies
• Ability to coach and mentor; demonstrated experience guiding global employees in areas related to bringing new capabilities to market, improving operations, and change management
• Technology Business Management (TBM) and Apptio experience preferred
• Expertise in the areas of strategy, planning and project management required
• Strong business leadership, technology acumen, and an ability to provide the appropriate level of influence at all levels
• High degree of independent leadership, critical thinking, communication, accountability, analytical and teamwork skills
• Ability to develop conceptual business cases based upon research, market trends and conditions, analytics, etc. and oversee business cases/road maps—develop theme level requirements to appropriately estimate resources, impacts, etc.
• The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while being flexible and able to handle rapidly-changing scenarios; someone who sees ‘ambiguity' as an opportunity rather than a hurdle.
