Senior Specialist, Product ManagementOverviewMastercard Send is a top corporate strategic priority and critical to establishing Mastercard as a global leader in new payment flows. Mastercard Send facilitates the secure delivery of funds between senders and receivers, typically within seconds. Through a single connection to Mastercard Send, businesses, merchants, governments, humanitarian organizations, financial institutions and others can send money to consumers and small businesses, domestically and cross border. The service supports multiple use cases, including person-to-person, business to business, disbursements, and remittances. With our technology and expertise we are making sending money safe, simple and fast.
The Senior Specialist, Product Management, will support the MA Send Global Product Management team with a range of high priority projects and initiatives designed to drive and accelerate the growth of our business. This includes managing, commercializing and expanding our portfolio of diverse consumer-initiated and business-initiated Payment and Funding use cases, such as P2P, Me to Me Cash Outs, insurance payouts and Gaming & Gambling.
Candidates should have a range of skills, including strong analytical/data and project management skills. Candidates should be proactive, able to think creatively and strategically, and feel comfortable managing and delivering against multiple work streams in parallel.
Role
• Partner with Product Marketing to develop and/or enhance sales collateral / FSM related to our portfolio of use cases
• Conduct market research and analyze and size market opportunities and/or existing program/use case performance, in order to help the team prioritize use cases and drive revenue
• Competitive tracking and analysis / positioning
• Manage/support development of business cases
• Define business requirements for product enhancements, new use cases and features
• Work with Regions and other members of Global Send team to support customer sales
• Support definition and development of new Standards or Program requirements related to new or existing use cases
• Help manage/track and address Regional requests
All About You
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or equivalent degree
• Experience in product management and/or pricing vertical within the payments industry
• Experience with developing new business models
• Excellent analytical, financial modeling and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on and manage multiple projects and initiatives concurrently
• Positive attitude and self-motivated with a proven track record of delivering success while operating within a matrixed and team environment
• Solid understanding of competitive offering and industry trends
