Overview

The Avanti Command Center team is seeking a Manager, Technical Program Management to drive cross functional coordination, intake planning, strategic storytelling, and presentation development within the Avanti Command Center. In this individual contributor role, you will shape compelling narratives, build executive ready presentations, and translate complex data into clear, impactful reports.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key connector across technical, product, governance, and operations teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication aligned with Mastercard's standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute at the forefront of Mastercard's innovation and help shape the organization's future direction

Role

• Storytelling & Messaging: Develop clear, compelling narratives that simplify complex concepts and highlight the value and impact of Avanti initiatives.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate alignment across contributors and stakeholders to ensure timely preparation and effective delivery of key meetings and deliverables.
• Presentation Design: Create visually engaging, executive ready presentations tailored for both internal and external audiences.
• Cross Initiative Insight: Track business case dependencies and understand how initiatives interact across the Avanti ecosystem, communicating implications and risks as needed.
• Executive Communication: Distill complex information into polished, concise narratives for senior level audiences, diving into subject matter as required.
• Content Development: Draft communications, talking points, summaries, and other materials to support leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Brand Alignment: Ensure all materials reflect Mastercard's tone, style, and visual identity while maintaining and evolving the Avanti brand.
• Documentation & Templates: Maintain communication templates, guidelines, and documentation to support consistent and scalable communication practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Assess communication effectiveness and recommend enhancements to strengthen Avanti's planning and engagement processes.

• Proven experience leading communication and program management initiatives
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a focus on clarity, precision, and impact
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and data visualization tools
• Ability to translate complex, technical concepts into clear, accessible messaging
• Comfortable partnering across both technical and non technical teams to drive communication strategies aligned with business priorities
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong judgment in balancing and prioritizing the needs of multiple partners
• Creative, proactive mindset with a passion for exploring new ideas and best practices
• Meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative, team oriented approach

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Pay Ranges

New York City, New York: $146,000 - $248,000 USD
