Job Title
Manager, Product MarketingOverview• Be the resident marketing expert for Mastercard's products & solutions, including consumer credit, debit, prepaid, commercial, digital, NPP, and C&I technology solutions
Leverage market intelligence about card usage and cyber trends and competitors' products as well as product knowledge of Mastercard products & solutions to identify new opportunities
Develop product collateral and other sales tools to be used distributed internally and externally with Customers
• Work closely with Regional Business verticals (Products, Loyalty, C&I, D&S, etc), Customer Segment Leads (Financial Institutions, Merchants/e-Commerce, Digital Partners & Fintechs, Governments), and Global Product Groups to support launch strategies for new products
• Work with local B2B Marketing teams and provide guidance on customer engagement discipline and regional B2B / B2B2C content creation.
• Evaluate accomplishment of objectives using KPIs and metrics defined for measuring marketing effectiveness
Role:
• Leads execution of Product Marketing strategies (including hands-on management of all materials and content) to drive adoption and usage
• Lead the execution of the B2B CRM and Marketing Center across all LAC markets looking to grow Customer Engagement and win new businesses
• Supports Demand / Lead Generation by piloting and rolling-out short- and long-term multi-channel campaigns to drive leads into the sales pipeline.
• Support and facilitate the operationalization of Passion cards and provide guidance to local marketing, products, and sales teams in the construction of product value propositions.
• Supports development of sales materials and packaging connected to Marketing priorities by providing insights into customer needs
• Deliver cutting edge B2B / B2B2C toolkits to drive education, adoption and usage of Mastercard's products & solutions in alignment with regional priorities, working with cross-functional collaboration with Communications and B2C/Experiential Marketing in the development of best-in-class IMC programs.
• Guides data collection and analysis on various product, segmentation, and positioning opportunities
• Supports efforts in piloting, adjusting and rolling out new products & solutions
• Leads efforts to integrate product programs with marketing platforms and vice-versa
• Monitors and makes adjustments to Product Marketing budget for own projects to ensure that all campaigns, programs, and activities are within allocated budget
• Manages relationship with B2B Marketing agencies.
All About You:
• Marketing experience or related marketing field with experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research)
• Experience executing product marketing campaigns and measuring programs to assess success and recommend changes
• Experience developing testing plans, concepts, and positioning for product prototypes
• Experience leveraging multiple sources of data to identify insights and develop agency briefs, assess creative content across channels, and deliver sales and marketing materials
• Experience participating in a quantitative study resulting in the ability to represent the voice of the customer
• Proficient in productivity applications such as Microsoft Office, Project or Basecamp.
• Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce.
• Familiar with marketing automation tools such as Pardot and Google Analytics.
• Familiar with networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
• Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn't—working
• Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large, senior groups, and a solid writer.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must; Portuguese is a plus!
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. Team player!
• Bachelor's degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
