Job Title

Manager, Communications - CaribbeanThe Communication Manager, Caribbean Division has the objective to drive leadership in brand reputation for Mastercard by:
• Create, implement and manage integrated communications programs in support of corporate objectives, priorities and the company's vision.
• Oversee Media Relations, Influencers Management, Key Opinion Leaders outreach, Crisis Management, Thought Leadership, Executive Visibility, Brand Reputation and Events.
• Coordinate the execution of communications activities in the Caribbean Division Mastercard's Latin America and Caribbean region, focusing on Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Bahamas, Barbados, Cayman, Bermuda, Aruba, Curacao and other islands where Mastercard conducts business with local partners (27 islands and territories in the Division).
• Create and execute an Executive Visibility program to position Mastercard as thought leader in ley Caribbean markets;
• Manage agencies and support the planning and execution of fully integrated communications strategies to enhance Mastercard's perception as a global payments and technology leader.
• Develop and adapt global messaging platforms that support Mastercard's business objectives and tell Mastercard stories.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the in-market business areas (Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Jamaica) on issues and matters related to communications, preparing briefing materials, developing messages and providing communications training to position Mastercard's executives as thought leaders and industry experts.
• Lead the process of constant and accurate measurement of communications results through the submission of reports and analysis of media coverage and LinkedIn.
• Lead in budget, contract and account receivables management.

Other requirements:
- Some years experience in Public Relations or Journalism, working in-house or in agencies;
- Fluent in Spanish and English;
- Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, proven ability to perform multiple tasks, and ability to work with both internal and external constituencies;
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to work in a team environment.
