Lead Product Manager - Salesforce CPQJOB SUMMARY

The Mastercard O&T Salesforce team is looking for a Lead – Product Manager Technical to drive ongoing CPQ projects on Salesforce platform. Role is responsible for creating and presenting strategic consulting and deliverables for clients, including analysis, recommendations, and implementation of salesforce.com CPQ functionality. This role is critical and responsible to collaborate with business stakeholders across, understand requirements and drive technical design solutions with ongoing CPQ implementation project.

ROLE

• Working with Business owners to capture requirements in delivering solutions in an agile environment and support the scrum team in upholding SAFe/Agile standards and processes.
• Work as a knowledgeable liaison between technical teams, testing teams and business stakeholders in delivering business critical solutions and obtain a good understanding of product functionality and dependencies.
• Developing and maintaining essential documentation: functional specifications (user stories, use cases, depending on the assignment), design documentation for building solutions in Salesforce lightning platform.
• Be the conduit between business and functional requirements, collaborating with scrum team to ensure clear understanding of what is needed to meet business expectations.
• Understand broader product vision and roadmap, provide recommendations on potential future projects, and communicate those to the Product Owner
• Show Leadership skills in making thoughtful decisions working with different teams.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders
• Working in full pace agile environment and has complete knowledge of agile ceremonies.
• Proactively manages the end-to-end delivery of engineering work though the engineering team and all dependent organizations
• Reports on progress, ensuring dependencies are covered

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Prioritize multiple tasks effectively and manage multiple client's engagements at one time. Must be able to shift gears quickly and manage many client relationships at once.
Help to ensure client cases achieve their intended results. Bring forward recommendations on possible future projects to achieve even greater results and communicate that to the sales team.
Demonstrated experience leading technical projects through requirement gathering, solution design, implementation, hypercare and working across regional teams.
Experience collaborating with different team members to ideate appropriate design solutions
Ensure deliverables meet internal requirements as well as client expectations
Manage and maintain a collaborative working relationship with internal resources, experience working in on-site/offshore model and consistently deliver high-quality services
Ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives through indirect leadership.
Self-motivated individual with ability to engage and influence peers and business partners. Must also present Prototypes/Demos to business users as required.
Must have experience in working Salesforce Lightning and implementing solutions using agile methodology.
Experience in onsite functional or technical roles with min 3-4 full-lifecycle CPQ projects, with strong implementation expertise in Salesforce CPQ.
Experience managing multiple large-scale full-life cycle implementations of CPQ, including ownership of the technical solution, design and guiding development teams.
Deep understanding and expertise in Product configurations, Pricing calculations and business process and supporting technologies Also thorough understanding of business processes surrounding amendments, renewals, entitlements, pricing and discounting.
Experience defining systems strategy, roadmap, developing process flow diagrams, developing systems requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions.
Expertise in identifying business risks, inefficiencies, issues, and opportunities related to Salesforce CPQ and designed solutions to address them.
Familiarity with PSA Financial Force and Cloud Sense Order Management is a plus.
Familiarity with Ironclad Contract Management is a plus.
8+ years of Salesforce administration experience with at least 3-5 years of Salesforce CPQ experience including the understanding of the following topics/ processes: products, pricing, discounting, quoting processes, booking, sales compensation, billing, amendments, and renewals.
Experience driving business engagement with Pricing, Revenue Operations, and Finance teams to translate business requirements into solutions that reinforce standard methodologies within Salesforce and CPQ.
Advanced knowledge of CPQ features/objects/definitions including price rules, product rules, summary variables, QLE configuration, block pricing, discount schedules, approvals, etc.
Good to have experience with integrating CPQ with external tools.
Good to have CPQ Order Management experience.
Must have Salesforce CPQ, Sales cloud Consultant and Admin certifications.
Excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills.
