Overview


The Role
The Director, Technology Strategy is responsible for developing strategic materials in coordination with the Operations and Technology leadership team members and creating compelling business narratives to support O&T strategic priorities. This will include:
• Responsibility for supporting the regular cadence of strategic reviews (Quarterly Operating Reviews, O&T Board presentations), delivering high quality strategic materials
• Ensuring alignment with other strategy teams across Mastercard on Technology related topics.
• Partnering with relevant stakeholders inside and outside of O&T to drive technology-related future scenario planning
• Working with team members who are on point to deliver strategic priorities to create and maintain the O&T strategic roadmap
• Observing market trends, technology trends and evolving industry dynamics to inform strategic priorities and planning

All about you

• Results-proven track record of exceeding goals and a bottom-line orientation; evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, experience and judgment
• Ability to think strategically, and translate nuanced technology concepts into compelling businesses-centric narratives
• Highly developed presentation, facilitation, and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Politically savvy collaborator and consensus builder with experience working with senior executives on strategic topics
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or engineering or equivalent work or education-related experience. Master of Business Administration or other advanced degree preferred
• Commitment to diversity and ethical, accountable, and transparent leadership
• Experience working in (or consulting for) global technology organization desirable
• 3-5 years experience in Management Consulting / Strategy Consulting
