Director, Talent Acquisition, Mastercard Strategic GrowthOverview:
• Mastercard's Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for developing diverse sourcing strategies to identify and attract the most competitive talent both internally and externally to ensure Mastercard's continued success in payments innovation.
• The Director, Talent Acquisition is an individual contributor role responsible for setting standards for Mastercard Strategic Growth (MSG) recruitment globally, developing a strategy for pipeline building and external EVP amplification as well as leading experienced hire recruitment delivery in a hands on manner for requisitions across North America/The Americas.
• The Director will be responsible for attracting talent in a priceless way for Mastercard Strategic Growth across North America as well as international markets. Act as a brand ambassador to our company reflecting Mastercard's passion and innovation in the market.
• Mastercard Strategic Growth is responsible for growing strategic partnerships, scaling new business opportunities, and advancing the company's efforts to partner with governments and other institutions to address major societal and economic issues. MSG drives financial inclusion and inclusive growth efforts and work to develop new businesses key to the company's strategic growth.

Role:
• As the TA Lead for Mastercard Strategic Growth, set standards for recruitment globally.
• Partner with internal and external Communications and the Talent Discovery teams to amplify the Employee Value Proposition/Candidate Value Proposition for our external audience in new and creative ways.
• Own end to end recruiting for MSG clients, from sourcing to closing candidates for recruitment in North America/The Americas
• Nurture client relationships across the MSG and People & Capabilities functions; be the main point of contact for assigned hiring managers for all things talent acquisition; ensure alignment with larger TA strategy.
• Develop plans for talent pipelines for critical and recurring roles, in partnership with the Talent Discovery team, and provide ongoing market intelligence.
• Manage certain aspects of team operations: vendor relations, and interfacing with administrators of HRIS/ATS/other related systems.
• Drive the adoption of data-based decision making on the team: utilizing data and performance against goals to allocate resources, develop business cases, and tell stories to People Business Partners and Hiring Managers.
• Manage executive referrals; ensure highest level of priority and appropriate compliance.
• In partnership with D&I program manager and others, execute on hiring initiatives that ensure a diverse talent pool and an inclusive candidate/employee experience. Manage, evaluate, and develop innovative direct sourcing plans and external partnerships.
• Responsible for identifying and managing effective external recruitment agency partnerships as well as measuring success.
• Lead recruitment strategy update meetings for assigned client groups and partner with People Business Partners, Total Rewards and Global Mobility throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
• In partnership with VP, develop and execute effective employer branding strategies.
• Meet quarterly goals for time-to-fill, cost per hire, diverse candidate slates, candidate pipelines, and required applicant tracking updates.
• Ensure recruitment data integrity is captured in the CRM and ATS appropriately.
• Lead and/or participate in special projects as needed.
• Share best practices and insights across the team.

All About You:
• Deep experience with talent acquisition within experienced hire recruitment as well as a desire to remain in a hands-on daily recruitment role; Extensive experience in direct sourcing, candidate assessment, as well as recruiting principles, theories, and concepts. Previous direct sourcing knowledge and use of tools in addition to LinkedIn is required.
• Prior experience recruiting all levels of talent across a range of functions as a corporate in-house recruiter or in an RPO model is required. Previous recruitment experience recruiting for one of the following is required: ESG, Government, NGOs, or Corporate Philanthropy. Recruitment agency experience is an asset. Prior experience recruiting for international markets outside of the US and Canada is strongly preferred.
• Experience setting standards in a global TA organization is an asset
• The ability to engage, lead, and develop talent (Jr. recruiters, contractors, etc.) who are not formal direct reports is ideal
• Demonstrated success in building and implementing diversity recruitment programs and strategies.
• Prior experience optimizing recruitment marketing and branding
• Excellent interpersonal skills and presence; comfort dealing with all levels of the organization. The ability to influence without authority.
• A self-starter who can act as a strong individual contributor and manager, operating effectively and successfully in a matrixed organization.
• Exhibits creativity, comfortable with risk taking, open to making change happen.
• Ability to implement and execute with speed and accuracy.
• Recruiting operations experience: you can ensure effective resource management, reporting, and stakeholder management.
• Strong Project Management and organizational skills and the ability to quickly master internal and external systems and platforms.
• Analytical mindset and ability to turn numbers into a story
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, including pivot tables, V- lookups, etc. is an asset
• Knowledge of U.S. and Canada employment laws.
