Job Title
Director, Red TeamOverview• Identify, test, and report security weaknesses in systems and applications
• Oversees governance and compliance of vulnerability definition through Red Team campaigns enterprise wide
• Develop and improve Red Team processes in line with industry best practices.
Responsibilities
• Formally supervises and coaches a large group/team, or several Leaders/Consultants
• Collaborates with representatives from multiple teams at various levels of management to drive for a stronger security posture across the enterprise.
• Leads a team of talented Red Teamers in the design and implementation of Red Team exercises, with a degree of latitude that allows for thorough execution in order to accomplish the goals of the engagement.
• Given the opportunity to leverage your creative analytical mind, and put your thoughts into actions and processes.
• Ensures own teams compliance to goal setting and performance appraisal process.
• Helps identify and coach top talent within own teams (includes direct reports and second-line reports)
• Recognizes risks to Corporate Security and proactively implements solutions
• Defines Red Team strategy for Mergers Acquisitions and security aspects of major projects.
• Acts as a mentor to employees, and oversees employee management, growth and development.
Experiences
• Often called upon to represent MasterCard at external industry events, contributing to expert panels and sharing white papers and best practices, etc., to enhance the organization's brand
• Successful track record in building upon the Red Team program to keep up with the ever changing technology & security landscape.
• Experience initiating and managing improvement in areas of Red Team processes by leveraging process metrics and customer feedback
• Proven ability to build collaborative working relationships with third party organizations at the global/regional or local level.
