Job Title

Director, Product Management - Blockchain & CryptoThe Mastercard Blockchain and Digital Assets team, part of Mastercard's global Consumer Solutions division, is focused on the rapidly evolving blockchain technology, related ecosystems and their impacts to consumers, merchants, and other market participants. The team leads the development, management, and commercialization of compliant digital asset solutions with the goal of providing a wide range of payment options and value add services to our stakeholders. The team's objectives align closely with Mastercard's multi-rail strategy and commitment to consumer choice.

The Blockchain and Digital Assets Team is looking for a Director, Product Management to support the delivery of Mastercard's crypto strategy and execute on the digital assets product roadmap by consistently innovating and collaborating with multi-functional teams worldwide. The individual will act as a business owner and drive the development and commercialization of key products and solutions, with a focus on new product verticals such as NFT payment solutions, crypto custody, crypto wallets, etc. The individual will oversee idea generation and product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, implement incremental improvements within the product's life cycle, and conduct ongoing care and maintenance. The ideal candidate is passionate about the crypto space, managing products, is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

Role

In the product management role you will:
• Engage in idea generation for new products and solutions or enhancements to existing products that will support Mastercard's customer needs in the crypto space;
• Help commercialize and develop strategic business plans for new and existing products, including rigorous analysis of total addressable market, competitive position, customer dynamics, etc.
• Work closely with global teams, regional leadership, and sales colleagues to understand Mastercard, issuer, acquirer, merchant, and consumer needs with regards to digital assets
• Provide support to sales and customer facing teams with communication and training on product functionality and enhancements
• Strong communication skills, should be a compelling presenter to senior client audiences
• Ability to seamlessly partner across our multiple internal sales, product management, program management and finance teams.

• Partner with platforms and engineering teams by providing a clear product vision, measurable goals and well-defined product roadmap and initiatives; define and prioritize product features

• Engage in concept validation, business case development, and in some instances financial modeling and planning for individual products and solutions

• Analyze market trends, dynamics, and competition in order to inform product and go-to-market strategies

All About You

• Interest in blockchain and crypto; prior experience, knowledge and understanding of the space is a plus
• Experience in product development and product management, including concept definition / validation, business requirements definition, go-to-market, etc.
• Ability to navigate complex organizations and to collaboratively work with key stakeholders and cross-functionally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate your vision and roadmap effectively to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial attitude, self-starter, ability to work independently
• Strong analytical skills; problem solver with the ability to take thoughtful risks; intellectually curious and agile
