Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6-month fixed term contract in the NPP Infrastructure team, supporting the ground-breaking P27 program in the Nordics with the bulk payment service offering.
Reporting to the regional Commercialisation lead and working closely with the P27 program team you will join an established team as we develop and bring multi-currency bulk services to market. The first service order was placed earlier in the year for a Swedish Krona service (SEK Batch) and the Danish Krona service (DKK Batch) order has recently been requested.
The initial focus will be to support the finalisation of the DKK Batch elaboration, working closely with our Product Owners and Solution Architects to achieve sign-off of all requirements in readiness for our software development teams. In addition, the role will play a pivotal role in the planning and commencement on the next Batch elaboration due to begin imminently. In addition, the role is the ‘Voice of Product' into the program and with the local market stakeholders as we prepare for market engagement and thought leadership activities.
The role provides a highly influential opportunity for wide senior stakeholder management across a large cross functional and markets.
Role
• This role is a critical component in supporting the creation of a successful and scalable global product line that is able to respond to and leverage the significant benefits associated with NPP within MasterCard.
• This role will be focused on supporting the P27 region, based in London. As a designated representative of Global Product, the role will be accountable for ensuring that the region and program has everything they need (product sales collateral, technical documentation, training, roadmap strategy, commercial framework) to execute a successful client engagement from initial market engagement to implementation.
• Director, Product Management is accountable for the product implementation strategy for the Bulk Payment Product Suite and providing the voice of Product for the capture and elaboration of requirements for the upcoming customer commitments to deliver Bulk services in Swedish Krona, Norwegian Krona, Danish Krona and Euro as well as the related Alias service for commercial payments.
• Director Product Management delivers profitable scalable and repeatable product implementation strategies that exceed the market's expectations; that our Sales team can therefore sell and that our delivery and development teams can successfully deliver.
• The Director, Product Management is accountable for ensuring that all business targets are met and that the Business Unit's annual target contribution to the business is achieved through the successful implementation of our product and services.

• Experience in managing development of products with and for tier 1 banks
• Genuine industry thought leaders with broader payments market background, capable of setting a vision
• A commercial focus that leads to corporate growth through proven experience of business case development, revenue generation and cost control
