The Human Skills Academy focuses on how we think, who we are and how we collaborate with our colleagues and our customers
Reporting to the VP, Human Skills Academy—the Director, L&D Human Skills Academy, leads the design, development, and delivery of relevant, impactful learning solutions that improve both individual and business performance.

Role:
• Understand trends and research in learning design and human/professional skills development and apply creativity, problem solving, and design methods to come up with innovative, scaleable and globally inclusive learning solutions that drive engagement, behavior change, and business impact.
• Partner with Global and Regional People & Capability Teams, Talent Center of Excellence, Learning Academies, Business Senior Management, Business SMEs and vendors to identify needs, customize content and co-create solutions in support of a unified Mastercard voice and approach to learning and skill development.
• Invent and develop engaging learning experiences and programs (face-to-face, virtual and self-paced) by establishing clear learning objectives and using strong instructional design, content acquisition/development, and learning program delivery skills.
• Create and manage pilots to test new concepts and learn before launching full scale programs.
• Manage large-scale global projects with multiple stakeholders and drive data collection/analysis for reporting and insights purposes in areas such as business impact, learning engagement, employee experience and cost effectiveness
• Drive marketing and communication activities to drive engagement and take up of the Academy services and solution.
All About You:
• You're a tech-savvy design thinker with an understanding of experience design, an eye for driving and creating visually stunning and engaging experiences/content, and a track record for creating the new and the different.
• You view everything through the eyes of your customer, the learner and continually look at the market and competition to identify new and creative ways to engage.
• Advanced consulting experience with the ability to translate business needs and priorities into deliverable learning objectives.
• Advanced experience designing and implementing learning experiences, programs, platforms and tools.
• Advanced program and change management skills required to implement/execute multiple high-priority, high-visibility projects on time and within budget.
• Advanced proficiency in storytelling and communicating/presenting/facilitating to internal/external groups with varying audience sizes and leadership levels.
• Advanced experience in data collection and analysis for business impact reporting.
• As this role serves a geographically and culturally diverse employee base, experience in working with global teams and understanding cultural sensitivities is critical. Candidates will be expected to work flexibly and travel as required to offices in all regions in order to be fully effective in this position.
