Job Title

Director - Business ExcellenceOverview

The business excellence director will lead and support key areas of the customer economics (pricing and interchange), business analytics specific strategy efforts for the division.
The individual will work with and support key areas of the business across the division.
The role involves making holistic assessments and plans along strategic, customer, financial, regulatory, risk and feasibility angles. This role may also involve close partnership with regional team to design, evaluate and advance strategies that drive the region's initiatives

In this role, you are expected to:
• Provide short and long-term strategic recommendations to the business's executives that are meant to develop and capitalize business opportunities
• Provide analysis that drives actionable insights of customers' performance through identifying key metrics, benchmarking and competitive analysis
• Lead and/or support multiple workstreams; function independently in ambiguous and evolving environment
• Establish collaborative and trusting relationships with the business's key internal leaders to ensure a free flow of ideas and information across the business, leading to suitable strategy formulation and overall business performance enhancement
• Guide team and directly influence customer strategies using analytical problem solving and leveraging data tools to provide market data and customer specific recommendations
• Provide leadership and guidance to members of the Business Excellence team

All about you
• Experienced payment professional preferred, but not mandatory
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced individual with strong business acumen, super analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex cross functional workstreams
• Strong interpersonal and executive skills, highly collaborative, with ability to maintain good communication
• Passionate about technology and payments, with particular emphasis on trends that will impact the trajectory of commerce including technological, regulatory, and competitive forces
