BizOps Engineer IIThe Platform Services/File Transfer BizOps team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer specifically aimed at improving NextGen File Transfer (NGFT) resiliency, scalability, automation, & monitoring. Candidates must also be willing & able to drive cultural changes around toil reduction, ownership, multitasking, effective & proactive communication, & attention to detail. The selected candidate will exemplify the Mastercard Way as it pertains to thought leadership with a customer centric approach. Engineers within this team are required to be brilliant at the basics—inclusive of ITSM & SDLC life cycle & collaboration to meet a common objective.NGFT uses the following technologies/tools:
• Code Mgmt/Execution: Bitbucket, Chef, Java, Kafka, X509, SSH, PGP, AES encryption, Maven, Spring Boot, HashiCorp Vault
• Database: Postgres, Redis
• Cloud: PCF, Amazon S3 (Ceph)
• Automation: XLR, Jenkins
• Monitoring: Dynatrace, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana
• ITSM/SDLC: Remedy, Rally/ALM
Nice to have expertise include: Mainframe, Oracle, Python, Groovy
